Job summary

Goodman Jewish Family Services is seeking a compassionate Case Manager for the Senior Housing Stability Project in Broward County. You will conduct assessments, develop plans, and coordinate housing-related financial assistance for older adults at risk of housing instability.

You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with CC LA attorneys and community partners to promote stable housing, financial security, and aging in place.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, Gerontology, or related field.
• Two years minimum case management in social/housing services or related field; experience with older adults preferred.
• Knowledge of aging services, housing resources, and community support systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of financial, housing, social, and supportive service needs.
• Develop individualized service plans with measurable goals to promote housing stability and financial wellness.
• Monitor client progress and adjust plans to changing circumstances.
• Provide advocacy, referrals, and warm handoffs to internal and community programs.
• Coordinate housing-related financial assistance and collaborate with landlords and housing providers.
• Coordinate emergency financial assistance and provide budgeting and financial literacy guidance.
• Maintain documentation, ensure HIPAA compliance, and support program evaluation and reporting.
• Engage with community resources, build partnerships, and promote housing stability services.
