Citi Bank Retail Mortgage is seeking a Senior Mortgage Lending Officer to originate high quality residential real estate loans. The role involves collaborating with branch partners, operations, and referral sources to grow mortgage business while promoting Citi's lending services.

The position requires 5-8 years of residential mortgage experience, strong relationship skills and knowledge of lending regulations. Educational requirements include a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in mortgage or related field.
• Residential Mortgage experience required.
• 1+ year previous sales, credit and/or finance experience required.
• FHA/VA & conventional loan experience preferred.
• Ability to explain financial calculations and pricing alternatives.
• Knowledge of consumer lending laws including fair lending, privacy and RESPA.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.

Responsabilités

• Consult with customers about financial situation and lending needs to help achieve home ownership goals.
• Collect and analyze income, assets, debts, credit history and cash flow.
• Assess whether customer and property qualify for a lending solution.
• Recommend lending solutions aligned with client objectives.
• Promote Citi's lending services to real estate agents and referral sources.
• Coordinate with Operations to ensure smooth loan application flow and documentation.
