Job summary

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in residential mortgage.
• Residential Mortgage experience required.
• 1+ year previous sales, credit and/or finance experience required.
• Proven product sales capability is required.
• FHA/VA & conventional loan experience is preferred.
• Ability to comprehend and explain financial calculations and pricing alternatives.
• Ability to communicate needed documents to obtain a loan.
• Knowledge of consumer lending laws including fair lending, privacy, and RESPA.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong relationship development and management skills.
• Expertise of general lending products and overall mortgage industry.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers about their financial situation and lending needs.
• Collect and analyze information about customers' finances and goals.
• Analyze financial information to assess qualification for lending solutions.
• Make recommendations on lending solutions to meet objectives.
• Advise customers about risks, benefits and alternatives of lending options.
• Promote Citi's lending services to clients and referral partners.
• Visit customers outside Citi's offices as needed.
• Collaborate with internal partners to support customers and grow business.
• Refer customers to Citi professionals for other financial services.
• Partner with Operations to transfer loan applications and gather required information.
• Work with Processors/Closers to ensure timely loan closings.
• Develop referral relationships to drive mortgage business.
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws, policies, and ethics.
