Job summary

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in residential mortgage lending
• 1+ year prior sales, credit, or finance experience
• Proven product sales capability
• FHA/VA & conventional loan experience preferred
• Ability to explain financial calculations and pricing
• Knowledge of consumer lending laws (RESPA, privacy)
• Strong relationship management and customer service skills
• Must register as a mortgage loan originator with NMLS

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers to assess financial goals and lending needs
• Collect and analyze customer information for loan qualification
• Analyze financial information to determine lending viability
• Recommend suitable lending solutions to meet objectives
• Advise on risks and benefits of loan options
• Promote Citi’s lending services and build referral networks
• Coordinate with realtors, CPAs, builders to drive mortgage business
• Ensure timely processing and closing through collaboration with internal teams
