Job summary

In this full-time role, you will consult with customers, analyze financial information, collaborate with branch partners and Citi Wealth teams, and promote Citi's lending solutions to real estate professionals and clients; you will also build lasting relationships and ensure compliant, timely loan closings.

Qualifications

• Residential Mortgage experience required.
• 1+ year previous sales, credit and/or finance experience required.
• Proven product sales capability is required.
• FHA/VA & conventional loan experience preferred.
• The ability to comprehend and explain financial calculations and pricing alternatives.
• Knowledge of the laws and regulations that govern consumer lending, including fair lending, privacy, and RESPA.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong relationship development and management skills.
• Expertise of general lending products and overall mortgage industry.
• This position requires the employee to register as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry before engaging in mortgage loan originator activities.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers about their financial situation and lending needs to help achieve home ownership goals.
• Collect and analyze information about the customer's finances and credit history.
• Analyze financial data to assess loan qualification possibilities.
• Make recommendations on lending solutions to meet objectives.
• Advise customers about risks and benefits of lending options.
• Promote Citi's lending services to real estate agents and clients.
• Visit customers outside Citi offices and collaborate with internal partners.
• Refer clients to appropriate Citi professionals for additional services.
• Coordinate with Operations and Processors to ensure timely loan closings.
