Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to manage multiple home construction sites from permit through closing, coordinating subcontractors, homeowner walks, and inspections while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires high school diploma (GED acceptable) and 2–4 years in construction, with strong communication, budgeting, and MS Office skills. Will travel between communities as needed and maintain excellent customer service throughout the process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years related construction management experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specs.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction schedule and ensure timely, high-quality homes.
• Coordinate subcontractors for each phase and ensure compliance with codes.
• Oversee homeowner walks, inspections, and warranty follow-ups.
• Maintain safety standards and manage budget and costs.
