Job summary

Visiting Angels of Plano/Lewisville seeks an organized, dependable Full-Time Care Scheduler to coordinate caregiver schedules and fill open shifts across the DFW area. The role requires prior home care scheduling experience, strong communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule: Saturday–Wednesday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM; On-Call every third weekend. Pay: $23–$28 per hour, based on experience. Weekly pay and PTO accrue with hours worked, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous home care agency scheduling experience is required.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule caregivers for new client assignments and fill open hours and shifts on existing cases.
• Maintain consistent caregiver assignments to promote continuity of care.
• Contact clients and caregivers regarding daily schedule changes, call-offs, and coverage needs.
• Make diligent efforts to staff open shifts and promptly communicate unresolved staffing needs to the direct supervisor.
• Generate reports on caregiver availability, staffing needs, and supply and demand.
• Maintain accurate client and caregiver schedules and ensure timely data entry.
• Enter and update client and caregiver information in the scheduling database.
• Review telephony records daily and support payroll processing and client billing.
• Maintain accurate scheduling records, reports, and documentation.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, families, caregivers, and team members.
• Provide professional support and clear communication to caregivers and clients.
• Escalate concerns to the Operations Manager as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of all client, family, and employee information.
• Participate in the on-call rotation every third weekend.
