Job summary

Associated Home Care is seeking a detail‑oriented coordinator to manage schedules for clients and caregivers in a fast-paced home care setting. You will ensure complete schedules, optimize caregiver shifts, and maintain high levels of service through clear communication with clients, families, case managers, and staff.

The role requires compliance with HIPAA and state/federal regulations. You will actively participate in referrals/intakes, monitor changes, and coordinate nursing introductions as

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years of scheduling experience preferred.
• Strong customer service-related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Directly coordinates schedules for an assigned group of clients and caregivers.
• Problem solves concerns and questions regarding client and caregiver schedules.
• Point person to accept and coordinate new referrals/intakes, including introduction to services and scheduling.
• Monitors service change log to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Identifies client authorization and schedules with caregivers of appropriate skill level.
• Ensures all schedules, including changes, are confirmed with clients and case managers.
• Reports changes in client status to supervisor and medical staff as needed.
• Coaches caregivers on punctuality, attire, and client concerns; documents findings and escalates.
• Coordinates with nursing team regarding client and caregiver needs.
• Participates in recruitment or onboarding activities and staffing needs.
