Job summary

Seabreeze Management Company is seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead our HOA operations, with oversight of budgets, contracting, and staff across California. You will drive best practices in administration, accounting, and maintenance to support vibrant community living.

Ideal candidates bring at least 5 years in community association management, strong leadership, and a commitment to service excellence. This role requires collaboration with the Board and adherence to governance documents.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of community association and/or property management experience.
• 5 years of supervisory experience; effective in motivating and building strong teams.
• Strong internal/external customer relation skills and communication abilities.
• Organizational, planning, project management, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Work with confidential/sensitive information and use diplomacy and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Oversee office staff, vendors, and suppliers to attain Association goals as established by the Board of Directors.
• Draft correspondence in response to Board policies and other communications pertaining to the HOA.
• Direct and organize all office operations and schedules for staff.
• Ensure insurance coverage complies with governing documents and review as necessary.
• Review and approve employee timesheets and maintain personnel files.
• Assist with budgeting, procurement, contracts, and vendor management.
• Review monthly unaudited financial statements and manage checks for payment.
• Coordinate maintenance plans for common areas and oversee vendor relations.
• Pre-screen and interview candidates and provide guidance and development to staff.
