Job summary

Seabreeze Management Company, Inc. is seeking a seasoned General Manager to oversee a homeowner association. You will apply broad knowledge of accounting, procurement, contract management, and maintenance to drive reliable services and compliance with CC&Rs and bylaws.

The role requires leadership of office staff and vendors, budget oversight, and effective communication with the Board and counsel to implement best practices and ensure high-quality, personalized service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of community association and/or property management experience.
• 5 years of supervisory experience; effective in motivating and building strong teams.
• Coordinate multiple projects with independent judgment.
• Strong communication skills, written and oral.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Effective follow-up and organizational skills.
• Professional image and personal etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Oversee office staff, vendors, and suppliers to attain Association goals.
• Draft correspondence and manage Board communications.
• Direct and organize all office operations and staffing.
• Manage insurance coverage, board relations, and personnel records.
• Assist with annual operating and reserve budgets and financial reporting.
• Review contracts and oversee procurement and vendor relations.
• Maintain association accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and financial statements.
• Plan and schedule maintenance for common areas and amenities.
• Screen and interview employment candidates for Association office.
