Job summary

Seabreeze Management Company in California seeks a seasoned General Manager to oversee the homeowner association portfolio. You will lead staff, manage budgets, and coordinate with the Board of Directors to ensure service excellence and compliance across property operations.

The role requires 5+ years in community association management, strong leadership, and proven ability to align operations with strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of community association and/or property management experience.
• Experience supervising teams and coordinating multiple projects.
• Strong budget, finance, and contract management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee office staff, vendors, and suppliers to attain Association goals as established by the Board of Directors.
• Prepare and monitor annual operating and reserve budgets with the Board and Finance Committee.
• Draft specifications for vendor bids and review proposals with governance.
• Lead accounting oversight, including review of monthly unaudited financials.
• Plan maintenance for common areas and coordinate with vendors and committees.
• Screen, train, and supervise association office staff; handle wage research and appraisals.
• Ensure compliance with governing documents, policies, and regulatory requirements.
