Job summary

DCS Asset Maintenance, LLC is seeking an experienced estimator to support growth in performance-based maintenance contracting for roadways and bridges. You will prepare detailed estimates for bids and proposals by gathering information, analyzing data, and presenting options to leadership for decisions.

The ideal candidate will have advanced numerical skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to manage relationships with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of proven experience as estimator or similar position.
• Strong analytical mindset and advanced numerical skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• High integrity and discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Understand the performance-based maintenance contracting model.
• Determine key variables for cost and other estimates.
• Gather data from sites, suppliers, subcontractors, and operators.
• Conduct research on labor costs, materials, and production times.
• Use software for data analysis, modeling, forecasting and budgeting.
• Review offers and quotes from subcontractors or vendors.
• Create and submit estimate reports and bids to leadership.
• Build relationships with vendors and engineers.
• Present bids to Company Leadership at gate reviews.
