Job summary

DCS Asset Maintenance, LLC is seeking an experienced estimator to support growth in performance-based maintenance contracting for roadways and bridges. You will prepare detailed estimates for bids by gathering information, analyzing data, and presenting options to leadership.

The ideal candidate has strong numerical and analytical skills, experience with Excel and Power BI, and the ability to manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.

• Proven advanced math and IT ability with an advanced analytical mindset.
• In-depth knowledge of financial and project management principles.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to produce thorough, reliable work products and execute them.

Responsibilities

• Understand the performance-based maintenance contracting business model.
• Determine key variables for cost and other estimates.
• Gather information from sites, suppliers, subcontractors, and operators.
• Conduct data research on labor costs, materials, and production times.
• Use software for data analysis, modeling, forecasting and budgeting.
• Review offers and quotes by subcontractors or vendors.
• Create and submit estimate reports and bids to leadership.
• Build relationships with key vendors and engineers.
• Present bids to Company Leadership at gate reviews.
