Job summary

DCS Asset Maintenance, LLC is seeking an experienced estimator to support growth in performance-based maintenance contracting for roadways and bridges. You will prepare detailed estimates for bids by gathering information, analyzing data, and presenting options to leadership.

The ideal candidate has strong numerical skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to manage relationships with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. Proficiency in Excel and Power BI is required.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of proven experience as estimator or similar position.
• Experience with highway or structures asset maintenance is a plus.
• Strong financial and project management principles; data analysis skills.
• Advanced math ability and IT proficiency; ability to use estimation formulas.

Responsibilities

• Understand the performance-based maintenance contracting model and project requirements.
• Determine key variables for cost and other estimates.
• Gather information from sites, suppliers, subcontractors, and operators.
• Conduct data-driven research on labor costs, materials and production times.
• Use software for data analysis, modeling, forecasting and budgeting.
• Review offers/quotes from subcontractors or vendors.
• Create and submit estimate reports and bids to leadership.
• Build relationships with vendors, subcontractors and engineers.
• Present bids to Company Leadership at gate reviews.
