DCS Asset Maintenance, LLC is seeking an experienced estimator to support our growth in performance-based maintenance for roadways and bridges. You will prepare detailed estimates for bids by gathering information, performing analyses, and presenting options to leadership for decisions.

The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills, an advanced analytical mindset, and the ability to manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.

Qualificações

• At least 5 years of proven experience as estimator or similar position.
• In-depth knowledge of financial and project management principles.
• Advanced math and data analysis capabilities; IT proficiency.
• Experience with highway or structures asset maintenance is a plus.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• High level of integrity with the ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to present to executives and work non-standard hours.

Responsabilidades

• Understand the performance-based maintenance contracting model.
• Understand the project/program and its requirements.
• Determine key variables for cost and other estimates.
• Gather first-hand information from sites, suppliers, subcontractors, and operators.
• Conduct research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production times, etc.
• Use software for data analysis, modeling, forecasting and budgeting.
• Obtain and review offers and quotes by subcontractors or vendors.
• Create and submit estimate reports and/or bids to appropriate persons.
• Build relationships with key vendors and engineers.
• Present bids to Company Leadership at gate reviews.
