Job summary

DCS Asset Maintenance, LLC is seeking an experienced estimator to support growth in performance-based maintenance contracting for roadways and bridges. The role involves preparing detailed estimates for bids by gathering data, collaborating with operators, and presenting options to leadership.

The ideal candidate has strong numerical and analytical skills, experience with financial and project management, and the ability to manage relationships with subcontractors and vendors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience as estimator or similar position, with highway or structures asset maintenance a plus.
• Strong knowledge of financial and project management principles.
• Experience with data analysis methods and estimation formulas.
• Advanced math skills and analytical mindset.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and related software.
• Ability to present to executives and negotiate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Understand the performance-based maintenance contracting model and project requirements.
• Gather information from sites, suppliers, subcontractors, and operators.
• Conduct research on labor costs, materials, and production times.
• Use data analysis, modeling, forecasting and budgeting software.
• Review offers/quotes and prepare bid reports for leadership.
• Build relationships with vendors, subcontractors and engineers.
• Present bids toCompany Leadership at gate reviews.
