Job summary

DCS Asset Maintenance, LLC is seeking an experienced estimator to support growth in performance-based maintenance contracting for roadways and bridges. You will prepare detailed estimates for bids by gathering data, collaborating with operators, and presenting options to leadership.

The ideal candidate has advanced numerical skills, strong analytical mindset, and the ability to manage relationships with internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience as estimator or similar position
• Experience with highway or structures asset maintenance is a plus
• Strong financial and project management knowledge
• Advanced math and IT ability with analytical mindset
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Integrity and handling confidential information
• Ability to present to executives

Responsibilities

• Understand the performance-based maintenance contracting business model
• Understand the project/program and its requirements
• Determine key variables for cost and other estimates
• Gather data from sites, suppliers, subcontractors, and operators
• Perform data analysis to inform estimates and budgeting
• Use software for data analysis, modeling, forecasting and budgeting
• Review offers and quotes from subcontractors or vendors
• Create and submit estimate reports and bids to leadership
• Build relationships with key vendors and subcontractors
• Present bids to Company Leadership at gate reviews
