Job summary

DCS Asset Maintenance, LLC is seeking an experienced estimator to support growth in performance-based maintenance contracting for roadways and bridges.

You will prepare detailed estimates for bids by gathering information, performing analyses, and presenting options to leadership. The ideal candidate has advanced numerical skills, an analytical mindset, and strong communication with subcontractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience as estimator or similar position in highway/structures maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of financial and project management principles.
• Proven data analysis methods and estimation formulas.
• Advanced math ability with analytical mindset.
• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI; AI understanding is a plus.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Understand the performance-based maintenance contracting model.
• Determine key variables for cost estimates and budgeting.
• Gather data from sites, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Research labor costs, materials, and production times.
• Use data analysis, modeling, forecasting and budgeting software.
• Review offers from subcontractors and vendors.
• Create and submit estimate reports and bids to leadership.
• Build relationships with vendors and engineers.
• Present bids to company leadership at gate reviews.
