Job summary
DCS Asset Maintenance, LLC is looking for an experienced estimator to support growth in performance-based maintenance contracting for roadways and bridges. You will prepare detailed estimates for bids and proposals by gathering information, working with operators, performing advanced analyses, and presenting options to leadership for decisions.
The ideal candidate will have excellent and advanced numerical skills and an advanced analytical mindset.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of estimator experience, preferably in highway or structural maintenance.
- Strong financial and project management knowledge.
- Advanced data analysis and estimation methods.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Excel and Power BI.
Responsibilities
- Understand performance-based maintenance contracts.
- Determine cost variables and estimate inputs.
- Gather information from sites, suppliers, and operators.
- Research labor costs, materials, and production times.
- Use data analysis and budgeting software.
- Review offers from subcontractors and vendors.
- Prepare and submit estimate reports or bids.
- Build relationships with vendors and engineers.
- Present bids to leadership at gate reviews.
