Job summary

WSP USA is seeking High Voltage Transmission Line Inspectors for the Power Constructors, Inc. (PCI) sector in Fort Worth, Abilene, or Waco, Texas. The role allows up to 100% travel and remote work from mutually acceptable locations.

You will support engineers and project managers by inspecting construction activities, generating precise documentation, and ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and codes. Strong technical writing and field inspection experience are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or proven experience.
• Minimum of 9 years of relevant post-education construction inspection experience.
• Valid professional licensure/certifications.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) background check.
• Solid knowledge of construction inspection principles, field practices, and codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections on projects of moderate scale; document findings clearly.
• Verify conformance with plans, specs, and permits; raise issues as needed.
• Prepare technical reports with photos, drawings, and data analyses.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and contractors on site.
• Assist with risk assessment and project planning activities.
