Job summary

WSP USA is seeking High Voltage Substation Inspectors to support our PCI sector in Texas, with up to 100% travel and a potential for remote work. The role focuses on field inspections of diverse construction projects, ensuring adherence to plans, codes, and safety standards.

You will analyze data, prepare technical reports, and collaborate with engineers, project managers, and contractors to resolve issues and maintain quality across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 9 years of post-education construction inspection experience.
• Essential professional licensure/certification(s) required.
• Valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data from field inspections and plans.
• Perform inspections with survey instruments and test equipment.
• Prepare clear, concise documentation of inspection findings and observations.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project managers on site.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and contract requirements.
