Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a High Voltage Transmission Line Inspector for our Fort Worth, Abilene or Waco Texas locations. This role offers up to 100% travel and potential remote work from mutually agreed locations.

You’ll support engineers and project managers through field inspections, data collection, and detailed reporting to ensure compliance with plans and codes. The position requires a minimum of 9 years of post-education field inspection experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong writing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 9+ years of post-education construction inspection experience.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to pass MVR background checks.
• Knowledge of construction inspection principles, codes, and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections per plans, specifications, and permits.
• Document inspection findings with photos, sketches, and reports.
• Ensure quality control and contract compliance across projects.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project managers.
• Provide guidance to junior inspectors and review safety practices.
