ID Logistics in Ocala, FL is seeking a Sr. Help Desk Support Technician to maintain and support our warehouse tech and networks.

The role focuses on optimizing performance of local networks, systems troubleshooting, and automation support in a fast-paced 3PL environment. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of end-user IT support, Windows 10/Server experience, and strong communication skills to bridge technical and production teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and relevant work experience in lieu of an advanced degree.
• 3+ years of end-user support experience.
• 1+ year of IT support experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft Server product line, Office Suite, TCP/IP, VPN, backups, virus protection, and monitoring.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to manage technical operations.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to participate in on-call support within a 24/7 operational environment.
• Effective communications skills (verbal, written, and presentation).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain local networks to optimize performance.
• Perform system troubleshooting and analysis of warehouse equipment and systems.
• Develop strategies for short- and long-term goals to meet warehouse operations expectations.
• Support PowerShell scripting/automation.
• Own the relationship between technical operations and production operations.
• Package software installations on many computers at a time.
• Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
• Troubleshoot to diagnose and resolve problems.
• Set up workstations with computers and peripherals.
• Check hardware functionality (HDD, mice, keyboards).
• Install and configure software per specifications.
• Provide orientation and guidance to users on new software and equipment.
• Maintain records/logs of repairs and maintenance schedule.
• Identify shortages and place orders.
• Follow GMP and report noncompliance when observed.
• Observe all safety rules and assist in enforcement.
