Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced aircrew operations supervisor to manage functional check flight operations and maintenance test flight activities at Joint Base Andrews. The role oversees scheduling, training, standardization, and safety programs for contract aircrew.

You will maintain aircrew qualification and currency, perform FCFs and ground checks, brief crews, and ensure compliance with manuals, regulations and PWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is highly desired.
• Must have completed formal training conducted under the auspices of an Armed Forces Pilot Training School and be a graduate of the USAF qualification course, or equivalent.
• Must have recorded a minimum of 1,000 flight hours as pilot in command in aircraft mission, type, design, and series.
• Must possess a thorough working knowledge of UH-1N, HH-60G, HH-60W, or CV-22B systems, publications, and regulations.
• Must be able to read and interpret technical data and use mathematics in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Manage aircrew in support of contract maintenance and flight operations.
• Oversee scheduling, training, standardization, and safety programs for aircrew.
• Perform aerial flight duties to determine airworthiness and conduct flight/testing evaluations.
• Maintain currency and proficiency on required maneuvers and publications.
• Brief crew on mission data, procedures, and equipment requirements.
• Ensure proper documentation and records pertaining to aircraft maintenance.
