Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced aircraft maintenance technician to support highly sensitive USAF operations, including safe air transportation for Cabinet Members and dignitaries. Responsibilities include scheduled maintenance, repairs, inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires experience on military aircraft, FAA A&P certification, ability to read schematics, and the capability to obtain/maintain required security clearances.

Qualifications

• At least one year recent aircraft maintenance on H-60 or S-70.
• FAA A&P certification or FCC license required.
• Military aviation maintenance training with recent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled/unscheduled aircraft maintenance.
• Repair/modify aircraft structures and components.
• Interpret manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Assist aircrew in flight preparation and perform preflight/through-flight inspections.
• Annotate MIS entries and maintain aircraft records.
