Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced professional to manage functional check flight and maintenance test flight operations in support of contract maintenance. The role oversees aircrew scheduling, training, standardization, safety programs, and currency requirements in accordance with contract PWS and military regs.

Qualified candidates will hold a relevant degree, substantial flight hours as PIC, and current FAA pilot certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is highly desired.
• Must have recorded a minimum of 1,000 flight hours as pilot in command in aircraft mission, type, design, and series.
• Must possess a thorough working knowledge of UH-1N, HH-60G, HH-60W, or CV-22B systems, publications and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage FCF/aircrew operations to determine aircraft airworthiness.
• Oversee scheduling, training, standardization, and safety programs for contract aircrew.
• Maintain aircrew currencies and certifications per contract requirements and MIL regulations.
• Prepare and maintain flight operations procedures in line with the PWS.
• Brief aircrew and passengers on mission data, procedures, and equipment requirements.
• Perform preflight, in-flight, and post-flight procedures per publications.
• Ensure ground/flight checks and maintenance documentation are accurate and complete.
• Support problem resolution and provide quality service to customers.
