PAE Government Services Inc. is seeking a qualified flight operations manager for contract maintenance at Joint Base Andrews.

The role requires leading aircrew and flight test activities, ensuring currency, and maintaining rigorous safety programs under military standards. The candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), prospective USAF qualifications (UH-1N/HH-60/HH-60W/CV‑22B), 1,000+ PIC hours, and current FAA medical and pilot certificates.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, highly desired.
• Must have completed formal training conducted under the auspices of an Armed Forces Pilot Training School.
• Graduate of the USAF UH-1N, HH-60G, HH-60W, or CV-22B qualification course, or equivalent.
• Must have recorded a minimum of 1,000 flight hours as pilot in command.
• Thorough working knowledge of UH-1N, HH-60G, HH-60W, or CV-22B systems and publications.
• Must hold FAA Class II Medical Certificate and FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate.

Responsabilidades

• Manage functional check flight and maintenance test flight operations for contract maintenance at Joint Base Andrews.
• Oversee scheduling, training, standardization, and safety programs for contract aircrew.
• Ensure aircrew currencies and certifications as required by contract and military regs.
• Develop and maintain flight operations procedures in accordance with the PWS.
• Perform aerial flight duties maintaining currency and proficiency; inspect, flight‑test and evaluate flight performance.
• Conduct maintenance operational checks to aid maintenance personnel and ensure aircraft systems operate satisfactorily.
• Review aircraft logs and maintenance records to determine required checks and ensure proper documentation.
• Brief crew and passengers on mission, flight data, procedures, and equipment requirements.
• Perform preflight, in‑flight, and post‑flight procedures and checks per publications and checklists.
• Maintain thorough preflight planning including flight plans, NOTAMS, weather, fuel, weight and balance.
