Job summary

Kokosing Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for heavy highway roadway/bridge projects in the Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia region.

The role oversees project teams and coordinates with agencies and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within budget. Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and have 10+ years of related experience, with CPM scheduling and strong leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 10+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of heavy highway/bridge construction projects.
• Ensures project goals are met within time and funding parameters.
• Manages Project Engineers, Superintendents and Foremen; directs team performance.
• Reviews proposals to determine timeframe, funding, staffing and resources.
• Establishes work plans and staffing for each project phase.
• Directs and coordinates activities to ensure progress on schedule and within budget.
• Prepares project reports for management or client.
