Job summary

Kokosing Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for heavy highway and bridge projects in the Richmond region of Virginia.

The role involves planning, directing, and coordinating activities to meet schedule and budget targets, with supervision of project engineers, superintendents, and foremen. The ideal candidate will hold a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree and have 10+ years of related experience, including CPM-based scheduling expertise and strong leadership

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree required.
• 10+ years of related experience preferred.
• CPM-based project scheduling expertise essential.

Responsibilities

• Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding, procedures, staffing, and resources.
• Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of the project; assigns personnel.
• Directs and coordinates activities to keep progress on schedule and within budget.
• Prepares project reports for management, clients, or others.
• Coordinates activities with governmental agencies and subcontractors.
• Understands and can analyze/execute CPM-based project schedules.
