Job summary

Kokosing Construction Company, Inc. is seeking an Area Manager for Heavy Highway roadways and bridge projects in Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

You will provide overall management, directing engineers, superintendents, and foremen to deliver programs on time and within budget, across multiple sites. The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree with 15+ years of related experience, strong CPM scheduling, leadership, and the ability to coordinate with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• 15+ years related experience and/or training.
• Experience managing heavy highway projects or megaprojects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review project proposals to determine timeframe, funding, procedures, staffing and resources.
• Oversee staffing for each phase and ensure coverage.
• Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to meet schedule and budget.
• Coordinate with governmental agencies and subcontractors.
• Understand and execute CPM-based project schedules.
