Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Lead Engineer for Heavy Highway – Roadway/Bridge projects in the Western PA or Morgantown area. The role involves on-site coordination with the team to plan, develop, and manage onsite construction engineering activities for heavy highway/bridge projects.

Ideal candidates have a civil engineering or construction management background with 5+ years in construction engineering, including bridge project experience; proficiency with Primavera P6 is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5+ years of construction engineering experience.
• Bridge project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage project engineering and related personnel functions and activities (planning, assignments, discipline).
• Ensure project engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements and support the construction schedule (Primavera P6).
• Provide technical support for construction planning and design; interpretation of design; application of construction methods; resolve design conflicts; conduct contractibility reviews.
