Job summary

Centene Corporation in the United States is seeking a senior project manager to plan, organize, monitor, and oversee end-to-end platform implementations across utilization management, prior authorization, and clinical workflows.

You will lead large-scale healthcare payer technology programs, coordinating cross-functional teams and executive conversations to deliver defined requirements and ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of project management experience with departmental specific projects.
• Lead in a functional area, managing cross-functional teams on large scale projects.
• Proficiency with MS-Office; healthcare and managed care experience preferred.
• Understanding of Agile methodology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full project life cycle, including requirements review, project plans, schedules, resources, budget, and execution.
• Use project management tools to establish methodology and procedures.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders and external agencies.
• Negotiate with stakeholders to identify resources, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate cross-functional meetings to meet objectives.
• Provide functional and technical knowledge across multiple business and technical areas.
• Manage creation of all deliverables to ensure quality standards.
