Job summary

Centene Corp. in Florida seeks a senior project leader to plan, organize, monitor, and oversee end‑to‑end platform implementations across utilization management, prior authorization, and clinical workflows.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage budgets, schedules, and resource assignments, and drive delivery aligned to strategic objectives while navigating executive discussions and detailed execution issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of project management experience with departmental specific projects.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams on large scale projects or supervisory experience.
• Proficient with MS-Office applications; healthcare/manged care experience preferred.
• Understanding of Agile methodology preferred.
• Experience with payer core platforms and clinical workflow preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full project life cycle including requirements, plans, resources, budget, execution, deployment and closure.
• Use project management tools and establish corporate PM methodology.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders and external agencies.
• Negotiate with stakeholders to identify resources, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate cross-functional meetings to meet stakeholder expectations and company objectives.
• Provide functional and technical knowledge across multiple business and technical areas.
• Manage the creation of all project deliverables ensuring quality standards.
