Sentara Health is seeking a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst. This role is fully remote and focuses on converting vendor specifications into data mapping for the Enterprise Data Platform, coordinating among stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure data is properly integrated, transformed, and delivered.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience in data analysis and mapping, with advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Databricks skills, plus healthcare

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis, mapping, ETL, data warehouse or related data environments.
• Advanced-level skills in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, data validation, Databricks.
• Experience developing source-to-target mapping documentation, business requirements, and technical specifications.
• Ability to interpret source system documentation, file specifications, data dictionaries and requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and documentation or collaboration platforms such as SharePoint, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Looking for someone with experience solving business problems with data.
• Experience supporting QA, UAT, production implementation, and post-deployment validation activities.
• Experience working with healthcare, payer, claims, enrollment, provider, or other regulated data domains.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly with operational, clinical, finance, or executive stakeholders.

Mansioni

• Convert vendor file specifications, layouts, and business requirements into detailed data mapping documentation.
• Serve as liaison among business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams for data integration and validation.
• Ensure data is properly integrated, transformed, validated, and delivered within the enterprise analytics ecosystem.
• Support data quality and data stewardship functions to maintain data accuracy.
• As a subject matter expert, provide data-driven conclusions and recommendations to business partners.
