Sentara Health is recruiting a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst to support data analysis and mapping within a remote role. You will convert vendor specifications into detailed mappings and align source data with the Enterprise Data Platform, serving as a liaison among business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure accurate data integration and governance.

The position emphasizes data quality, data stewardship, and actionable analytics, requiring 3+ years of data-focused experience

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, data mapping, ETL, data warehouse, or related data environments.
• Advanced-level skills in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, data validation, and Databricks.
• Experience developing source-to-target mapping documentation, business requirements, and technical specifications.
• Ability to interpret source system documentation, file specifications, data dictionaries and requirements.
• Proficiency with SharePoint, Confluence, or similar collaboration platforms.
• Experience supporting QA, UAT, production implementation, and post-deployment validation.
• Experience with healthcare, payer, claims, enrollment, or other regulated data domains.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly with operational, clinical, finance, or executive stakeholders.
