Sentara Health is seeking a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst. This fully remote position focuses on converting vendor file specs into data mapping docs that align with the Enterprise Data Platform, collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure accurate data integration and delivery.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in analytics, statistics, informatics, or related field, and advanced Excel/SQL/Power BI skills, with experience in QA/UAT and healthcare data domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in analytics, statistics, informatics, business, public health, or related field.
• Advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, data validation, and Databricks skills.
• Experience developing source-to-target mapping documentation, business requirements, and technical specifications.
• Ability to interpret source system documentation, file specifications, data dictionaries and requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and documentation or collaboration platforms such as SharePoint, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Looking for someone with experience solving business problems with data.
• Experience supporting QA, UAT, production implementation, and post-deployment validation activities.
• Experience working with healthcare, payer, claims, enrollment, provider, or other regulated data domains.

Responsabilités

• Translate vendor specifications into detailed data mapping documentation that aligns source data elements with Enterprise Data Platform structures.
• Serve as liaison among business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
• Help ensure data is integrated, transformed, validated, and delivered within the enterprise analytics ecosystem.
• Support data quality and data stewardship functions to maintain data accuracy.
• Use analytic skills to offer data-driven conclusions and recommendations to business partners.
