Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst to transform vendor specifications into data mappings for the Enterprise Data Platform. This remote role partners with stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure data is integrated, validated, and delivered across the analytics ecosystem.

A Bachelor’s degree in analytics or a related field and at least 3 years of data analysis experience are required, with advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Databricks skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, data mapping, ETL, data warehouse, or related data environments.
• Experience developing source-to-target mapping documentation, business requirements, and technical specifications.
• Ability to interpret source system documentation, file specifications, data dictionaries and requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and documentation or collaboration platforms such as SharePoint, Confluence, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Translate vendor specifications into detailed data mappings aligned with Enterprise Data Platform structures and business rules.
• Serve as a liaison among business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure accurate data delivery.
• Support data quality and data stewardship activities to maintain data accuracy across analytics platforms.
• Communicate findings clearly to operational, clinical, finance, or executive stakeholders.
