Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks an analytics professional to support financial, operational, and clinical performance. You will leverage G/L, patient accounts, and procedure data to explain trends and quantify key drivers. Mentoring junior analysts is part of the role.

You will partner with hospital and physician stakeholders to provide actionable insights, conduct ad-hoc analyses, and present executive-level summaries of major projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 6 years related experience in finance/analytics.
• 3 years in Decision Support and Data Analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to analyze large data sets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of volume, revenue, cost, and profitability.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses for leadership and major initiatives.
• Analyze variances vs budget/forecast and identify opportunities.
• Supplement financial analysis with operational/clinical data.
• Quantify impact of changes in patient, procedure, or payor mix.
• Create and present executive summaries with findings and recommendations.
• Mentor and coach junior analysts; support team growth.
