Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review referral requests from PCPs and onsite specialists.
• Coordinate appointment dates and times for patients.
• Inform patients of details and arrange transport when needed.
• Secure and maintain patient information and confidentiality.
• Verify open referral reports and ensure readiness for visits.
• Process at least twenty referral orders per day.
• Handle referral authorizations per plan protocols (Availity).
• Coordinate procedures for surgical clearance and forward docs.
• Schedule urgent referrals as requested by PCP or onsite specialists.
• Notify PCPs of missed appointments and reschedule.
• Scan and index documents in the EHR and ensure availability.
• Participate in center/market teams related to care plans.
• Support coworkers to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
