Job summary

Paychex in the United States is seeking a sales professional to grow the client base within the Core Sales, Human Resource Services Sales, or Major Market Sales teams. You will identify client needs, present Paychex solutions, and build lasting relationships with key stakeholders, in person or virtually.

The role requires a high-energy, results-driven approach with a proven sales record, quota experience, and knowledge of the HCM industry.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Seven years of experience in professional sales with a proven quota track record.
• Five years of experience in the HCM industry and familiarity with CORE HCM providers.
• Experience selling to mid-sized or larger businesses and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Sell the company's products and services by developing new clients and expanding the client base within Core Sales, HR Services Sales or Major Market Sales.
• Leverage Go-to-Market strategies to identify needs and present Paychex solutions to key stakeholders, in person or virtually.
• Schedule appointments, visit referral sources, and secure referrals to end users.
• Prospect for new clients and sources via calls, mail, seminars, and current client visits.
• Analyze customer needs, determine appropriate products, and refer to the right teams.
• Submit accurate new business paperwork and weekly activity reports by deadlines.
• Address and resolve customer problems promptly and professionally.
• Project a positive corporate image to clients and the community.
• May travel outside the territory for conferences, training, or Zone meetings.
