Job summary

Paychex in New Orleans seeks an experienced sales professional to grow the client base within Core Sales, HR Services, or Major Market Sales. You will identify client needs and present Paychex solutions to key stakeholders, tailoring outreach to in-person or virtual preferences.

The role requires a 7+ year sales background, 5+ years in the HCM space, and a proven quota-driven track record. Travel for conferences/trainings and a valid driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 7 years of professional sales experience.
• 5 years in HCM industry.
• Experience meeting a sales quota.
• CORE HCM provider experience.
• Experience with mid-size or larger businesses.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Leverage Go-to-Market Sales Strategy to identify customers' needs and present the Paychex solution to key stakeholders.
• Schedule appointments and visit potential and current referral sources to secure referrals to end users.
• Prospect for new clients and new referral sources via phone, direct mail, seminars, current client visits, or other marketing programs.
• Analyze customer needs and interests, determine appropriate products, and refer to the appropriate party.
• Complete and submit accurate new business paperwork, expense reports and weekly activity reports by due dates.
• Expedite resolution of customer problems or complaints.
• Project a positive image in representing the Corporation to clients and the community.
• May travel outside territorial area for conferences, training, and zone meetings.
