Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to join our Rehabilitation Services team in Oklahoma. The role centers on hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder rehab, with emphasis on evaluation, splinting, and individualized recovery plans.

You will supervise OT staff, collaborate with hand surgeons and clinicians, and fabricate custom orthoses. A Bachelor's degree is required; a DPT or DOT is preferred. Current OT/PT license and CHT credential are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DPT or DOT preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• 3+ years in upper-extremity rehabilitation and outpatient therapy.
• Current state PT or OT license; CHT credential; CPR/BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition and establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to age and disability of the patient.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Directs and supervises activities of Occupational Therapy Assistants, students and support personnel.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints for hand and upper-extremity conditions.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear, care, and precautions.
• Treat patients with orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve, and postoperative conditions.
• Provide scar management, edema control, wound care, and return-to-work rehabilitation as appropriate.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and case discussions.
