Job summary

Norman Regional Health System seeks a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to lead specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder within the outpatient setting in Oklahoma. You will evaluate patients, develop recovery plans, and supervise OTAs and students as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include orthotic fabrication, wound and scar care, and return-to-work rehabilitation. A BS in a related field is required, with CHT and CPR/BLS certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state PT or OT license
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential
• CPR/BLS certification
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 3+ years of upper-extremity rehabilitation experience

Responsibilities

• Assess initial and ongoing conditions and establish plan of care
• Provide hand and upper-extremity rehab interventions
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services
• Direct and supervise OTAs, students, and support staff
• Design, fabricate, fit, and educate on custom hand orthoses
• Treat post-surgical, orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, and nerve conditions
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, physicians, and other rehab professionals
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and case discussions
