Norman Regional Health System in Oklahoma seeks a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, develop recovery plans, and supervise OT staff in a busy outpatient setting.

The role requires 3+ years of upper-extremity rehab experience, current state OT or PT license, and a CHT credential; CPR/BLS certification is also expected.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Responsabilidades

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments and establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Direct and supervise OT Assistants, students and support staff.
• Design, fabricate, fit and adjust custom orthoses and splints.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear and care.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, and postoperative conditions.
• Provide scar management, edema control, wound care and return-to-work rehab.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and case discussions.
