Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to provide specialized hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder rehabilitation. The role includes evaluating patients, creating recovery plans, and supervising OT staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in OT/PT or related field.
• Current state license in OT or PT.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
• CPR/BLS certification current.
• 3+ years upper-extremity outpatient rehab experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments and establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for hand/upper-extremity conditions.
• Document delivery of OT services.
• Directs and supervises activities of OT Assistants, students and support personnel.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints for hand/upper-extremity conditions; educate patients.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other clinicians; participate in interdisciplinary care planning.
