Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to lead upper-extremity rehabilitation in outpatient settings. The role focuses on evaluation, custom splinting, and recovery planning for hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder conditions.

Responsibilities include supervising OT staff and collaborating with hand surgeons and physicians to develop interdisciplinary care plans. Current OT/PT licensure and CPR/BLS are required, with a CHT credential preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctoral degree preferred in PT/OT.
• Graduate from accredited OT program.
• 3+ years experience in upper-extremity rehab/outpatient therapy.
• Current state PT or OT license; CHT credential; CPR/BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments and establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for hand/upper-extremity rehab.
• Document delivery of OT services.
• Directs/supervises OT assistants, students, and support staff.
• Design/fit custom orthoses and splints; educate on wear and care.
• Treat post-surgical and injury rehab; scar management and wound care.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other clinicians; participate in care planning.
