Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to join our outpatient rehabilitation team in Oklahoma. You will evaluate patients, design and fabricate custom splints, and lead coordinated care for hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder injuries.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and a CHT credential, with 3+ years in upper-extremity rehab, and current OT/PT licensure. Strong communication and mentoring skills are valued, with comprehensive benefits and competitive pay.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DPT or OT doctorate preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current state PT or OT license.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments and establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to age and disability.
• Document Delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Directs and supervises activities of OT Assistants, students and support personnel.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints for hand and upper-extremity conditions.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear, care, and precautions.
• Treat patients with orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve, and postoperative conditions.
• Provide scar management, edema control, wound care, and return-to-work rehabilitation as appropriate.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and case discussions.
