Norman Regional Health System in Oklahoma seeks a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to lead specialized rehabilitation for hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder injuries. You will evaluate patients, create splints, and develop recovery plans for a diverse caseload.

The role includes supervising OT assistants and students, fabricating orthoses, and managing post-surgical rehab while coordinating with hand surgeons and other clinicians. A Bachelor's degree is required; a DPT or OTD is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DPT or OTD preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• 3+ years of upper-extremity rehabilitation and outpatient therapy experience.
• Current state PT or OT license.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments and establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to age and disability.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Directs and supervises activities of OT Assistants, students and support personnel.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints for hand and upper-extremity conditions; educate patients on wear and care.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve, and postoperative conditions; provide scar management and return-to-work rehab.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals; participate in case discussions.
