Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Group Manager Logistics I to oversee financial, operational and people aspects for multiple accounts. The role aims for profitable retention and growth while hitting safety, HR, and customer satisfaction goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or related field; additional 2 years of relevant work experience accepted.
• 5+ years in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or related field.
• 5+ years in managing and developing direct reports.
• 5+ years in leading large multi-level teams.
• 3+ years delivering complete logistics solutions and program management.
• 3+ years in LEAN leadership environments.
• Experience with profit & loss responsibilities preferred.
• 1+ year managing customer KPIs required.
• Some sales and multi-client experience viewed favorably.
• Knowledge of truck brokerage and Ryder systems advantageous.
• Ryder safety programs familiarity preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial, operational and employee aspects across multiple accounts.
• Ensure profitable retention and growth of business.
• Lead and develop direct and indirect reports.
• Maintain staff levels and training for Transportation/Distribution management.
• Improve KPI tracking and customer satisfaction.
• Reduce overtime and accidents; enforce safety programs.
• Drive process improvements and self-audits across locations.
• Coordinate SOX revenue recognition and invoicing processes.
