Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business, logistics, supply chain or related field; 2 years of relevant work experience required
• Master's Degree in related field preferred
• 5+ years in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field required
• 5+ years in managing/directing staff; leadership experience preferred
• 5+ years in managing large multi-level teams required
• 3+ years developing and implementing complete logistics solutions and managing projects
• 3+ years leading teams in a Lean environment preferred
• 3+ years in Profit & Loss responsibility preferred
• 1+ year managing customer KPIs required
• 0–1 year in sales experience preferred
• 0–1 year in multi-client experience preferred
• Knowledge of truck brokerage advanced preferred
• RD/Logistics/Transportation industry advanced preferred
• Ryder Safety Programs advanced preferred
• Ryder Financial reporting and accounting procedures (Walker) intermediate preferred
• Basic PC skills (Microsoft Office) intermediate required
• RD2000 computer system advanced preferred
• Ryder products & services advanced preferred
• Ryder sales process advanced preferred
• Ryder pricing models advanced preferred

Responsibilities

• Goal setting, skills assessment, IDPs, career development and performance evaluation with ongoing feedback
• Developing direct and indirect reports and ensuring effective personnel selection
• Creating location processes and maintaining SCLM
• Customer satisfaction and KPI tracking with staff training in Transportation/Distribution Management
• Improve employee retention and reduce unnecessary overtime; safety reporting follow-up
• Initiate and improve location processes and assign responsibilities
• SOX invoice reconciliation and revenue recognition coordination
